Absorbing Element
Let $(S, \cdot)$ be a magma. A zero element is an element $z \in S$ such that $s \cdot z = z \cdot s = z, \forall s \in S.$ $z$ is considered a left-zero when $z \cdot s = z$ and a right-zero when $s \cdot z = z$.
