Circle

A circle centered at point $(a, b)$ with radius $r$ is the locus that satisfies the equation $(x - a)^2 + (y - b)^2 = r^2$.

Remarks

The solution set for $(x - a)^2 + (y - b)^2 = r^2$ gives points that are all the same distance from a point $(a, b)$.
