Prologue

Welcome to mathematik-zettelkasten: my university mathematics notes expressed as a zettelkasten. Keep in mind that I am writing these zettel’s from the following perspective:

I am a mere mortal
I enjoy simplicity a lot

I might get things wrong, and I might oversimplify things. Trying to explain complex topics in a concise manner implicitly leads to those explanations not being as rigorous as they should. In other words,

$$\text{rigor} \implies \text{long explanation}.$$

But this webpage attempts to,

$$\text{short explanation} \implies \text{clarity}.$$

Notice how I did not say “ease of understanding” or “correctness”…
